Ikigai Fiber Chibi Paka Chunky (75% fine washable merino wool, 25% baby alpaca; 55 yds / 50.5 m per 50 g skein): 2 skeins of MC and 1 skein of 3 CC's
Yarn pom-pom was made with leftover yarn after making the hat. However, if you are not knitting to gauge, you may not have enough yarn to complete a pom-pom.
SECOND HAT OPTION!
The Northport Hat kit includes enough yarn to make two hats. For the second hat, you’ll just need to work the ribbed portion using two of the three contrasting colors. Detailed instructions for this variation are included in the pattern.
FAUX FUR POM-POM NOT INCLUDED. WE HAVE MANY DIFFERENT POM-OPTIONS AVAILABLE:
- US 9 / 5.5 mm 16" / 40 cm circular needle and set of 5 double-pointed needles
US 8 / 5 mm 16" / 40 cm circular needle
- Stitch marker
- Tapestry needle
- Crochet hook and waste yarn
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Yardage Information
Gauge is extremely important for all of our patterns. The yardage for yarn included in our knitting kits is based on the amount of yarn required to make the sample plus an additional 15%.
If your row and/or stitch gauge is larger than what is listed on the pattern, you may not have enough yarn to complete your project. If you require more yarn, additional yarn is available at the regular per skein cost and will be shipped to you free of charge.
